And so into the 3rd month of the league we can now safely say the honeymoon period is over and there will be no more handy segments.
The TT is over 4 miles of rolling hills on the Moss Road ( and nowhere near the route of the flying squad)
The hill segment is much more of a challenge as well being over a mile long with 2 significant climbs – don’t forget to wave to Kevin when going past his house coming up to the start.
The sprint is a new segment created and should be perfect for anybody who has been well caffeinated on their way back into town from Drop Hopper Roastery.

Some results for the June segments hot of the press and a whole bunch of facts and figures for the budding data analysts among you.
Fantastic to see everybody still plugging away and enjoying the competition – this months segments were all tough and there’s no doubt we are all improving as the months go on.
So 3 months in and it looks like business as usual as Gary consolidates his lead. Team mate Patrick leapfrogs Siv into 2nd place in the individual competition overall.
Indeed Gary and Patrick’s Team ‘Square Wheels’ seem almost unbeatable at this stage – as much credit must go to team members Colin and Bosco whose consistent efforts have made this possible.
Indeed they are the only team where all riders have scored in all segments in all months!! Fair play lads.
Special shout out to top lady Roisin and young rider Loris.
Well done everybody.
Get well soon to Rab who had a tumble on Friday night – hopefully he makes a swift recovery and is back on the bike soon.
