Second month of the league has now finished. Results below for individual and team competition. The competition has certainly ramped up and the last few days saw a flurry of activity. Big performances from Stephen Burns and Loris saw ‘The Wind Chasers’ take top spot in the team competition and move up to 3rd in the overall.

In the individual competition last months phenomenon new boy Patrick Keary seems to have gone off the boil with Neil Currie taking top spot. Reigning champ Gary is back in the lead overall followed by Siv. In a recent interview for Cycling Weekly Gary claims “Patrick had a few lucky segments last month and I think the novelty of his new bike has worn off. Normal service has now been resumed” Lets see how things pan out in the next couple of months – sounds like the gloves are off.

Transfer news –
Niall V has joined the Polka Dots to replace Chris Polley who has been unable to commit to the league after his Mallorca 312 heroics.
Colin Shields has joined the Puncheurs to replace the injured Sammy.
The Animals have been a man down from the start and with no replacement available the strava league admins have agreed to give them the average score of the 4th rider in each team to keep them in the team competition.
